Description
The EU Blockchain Observatory & Forum produly supports the International Conference on DAO Regulation, organised by the Lisbon DAO Observatory.
After an empirical workshop assessing the status of the industry, a more status quo-oriented second event where the aim was to learn how DAOs are dealt with in laws already in force and the thrill of a groundbreaking DAO legal hackathon which provided the Observatory with valuable practical insight, is now proud to present the INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DAO REGULATION, which will take place on the 20th April 2023 in the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, in Lisbon, Portugal!
This event will include fruitful discussions on the shape of any future DAO Regulation (direct legislative intervention, self-regulation or no regulation?), on major topics such as mandatory decentralisation, legal personality, governance structures, limited liability and ability to contract and on crucial sectorial issues, including dispute resolution, civil liability, tax law, criminal law or conflict of laws. No stone will be left unturned in this discussion!
The list of distinguished speakers includes Peter Kerstens, Nathan Vandy, José Nuno Sousa Pinto, Henrik Axelsen, Kelsie N., Rafael del Castillo Ionov, Florian Möslein, Primavera De Filippi, Silke Noa Elrifai, FCIArb, Morshed Mannan, Florence Guillaume, Jamilya Kamalova, Peder Østbye, João Serras de Sousa, David Silva Ramalho, Bianca Kremer, Ye Wang, António Rocha Mendes and Luís de Lima Pinheiro!
