Map of training & educational initiatives

We are proud to present our new website functionality, offering a mapping of existing Blockchain training and educational initiatives in Europe and the world!

We invite all organisations offering such training or educational programmes, to provide information on their initiatives by completing a simple online form. All entries will be reviewed by our team in terms of relevance and completeness of information and will then be made available on the map.

The map will allow users to search the content based on specific criteria including country, language, type of initiative, etc.

Workshops

Our next workshop, to take place in April 2021 (date to be confirmed) aims at discussing energy efficiency of blockchain technologies. 

The workshop will

• discuss and compare consensus protocols, 
• explore cryptocurrency mining 
• analyse the energy resources used for mining operations and examine their profitability
• review and assess bitcoin consumption indexes
• compare performance of various blockchains
• discuss scalability and performance considerations.

Previous Events

Our workshop on "The EU Blockchain Ecosystem developments" took place on the 2nd of March. With more than 300 participants, the workshop brought together representatives from the industry, academia, research and policy to discuss trends, drivers and obstacles faced by the EU Blockchain ecosystem, taking on board factors both at EU and Member State level.

• Join INATBA on March 18th for the event on "Reaching EU Green Deal Objectives with Real Estate Sector Blockchain Solutions: a closer look at the Unique Object Identifier". Find out more and register to join the event!

• The Austrian Blockchain Center presents its annual conference on the 23rd of March 2021, featuring talks ranging from technological aspects of blockchain technologies to legal topics related to virtual assets. Chech out the agenda and speakers and register to follow the discussion. Participation is free of charge!

• Join the BlockchainAdria online conference on the 25th of March 2021, focusing on "Blockchain in Enterprise: From Concept to Revenue". Find out more and register your interest to participate!

Upcoming EUBOF publications

• Our third Trends report is expected to be published by the end of March 2021 providing latest new and updates on market, technology and regulatory developments.

• The next thematic report focusing on Blockchain Energy Efficiency is expected in early April 2021.

• The extended thematic report focusing on Central Bank Digital Currencies and the Digital Euro is expected to be published in May 2021.
